Under the Creuse sun and in the magnificent setting of the Circuit du Mas du Clos , Mercury Silver hired 3 Gentlemen Drivers , holders of a VIP Driver Pack .

The Mas du Clos circuit:

With an eventful terrain and 12 turns, this 3.1 km circuit offers drivers numerous difficulties: large curves, double turns, straight lefts, banked turns as well as a nice climb at the end of the straight!

Gentlemen Drivers, VIP Driver Pack

For this beautiful summer day, Mercury Silver entered a Formula Renault 2.0 single-seater in the Trackday category ( open to drivers with FFSA License) bringing together single-seater owners and circuit driving enthusiasts.

François , Hervé (VIP Driver Pack Members) and Alexis (car owner) shared 8 series of laps at the wheel of the Formula Renault 2.0 chassis Tatuus 521 (ex-Simon PAGENAUD). The other cars ran in the Formula Renault driving course category.

A beautiful day between Gentlemen Drivers

Arriving at the circuit at 8:00 a.m., François and Hervé were given their brand new FIA equipment by Alexis (full helmet, suit, hood, underwear, gloves, boots).

Supervised by Herbert and Josse, BPJEPS qualified instructors, our pilots are in good hands: explanations on piloting techniques, braking, weight transfers, procedures to follow on the track... Red, yellow, blue or other flags. checkerboard, everything goes. As well as the instructions in the event of a spin to preserve the engine.

François will be the first to ride followed by Hervé then Alexis.

Passionate about beautiful cars, François has a little experience of single-seaters acquired with Alexis in 2019 and 2020 on different circuits. Starting on cold tires, he quickly found his feet.

Driving a Formula Renault with the Mercury Silver Driving School

Also passionate about beautiful English cars, Hervé was the least experienced of the three with a few hours of riding with Alexis in 2019.

Alexis , owner of Formula Renault, was the most experienced with many days on different circuits, often in Formula Renault 2000 or 2013. It is a great pleasure for him to drive in his car and share the wheel with real Gentlemen Drivers. The discovery of Mas du Clos was also fascinating.
